Operation of "Double" is in action
As was supposed by Chechen side, the Russian Special Services have started realization of so-called "special enterprises" to discredit Chechen leaders and attempts are made to create a rift in forces of Mujahideen. One of former secret informers of KGB-FSB Shamil Beno declared on the eve that in the Chechen Republic "two - three groups supposedly, have appeared, who are at war both with Russian and with Khattab". Russian Mass-Media published statement of Shamil Beno. The Chechen side marks that followers of Kadyrov and Gantamirov have recently speed up rumors about certain groups of young Chechens, who are at war for independence, but are against "Wahabbists". The Chechen military command has already called statement of the Russian Special Services as "silly, clumsy work", to deceive the Russian inhabitant, as well as on citizens of ChRI and furthermore Mujahideen, but similar primitive propagation will not prove effective at all.

"Wahhabists" do not commit crimes
Two persons, who arrived recently in Pankissk gorge with the British passports, have caused suspicion and in the presence of employees of embassy of the Great Britain were extradited from Georgia, as reported to Georgian agency of the Prime √ News by Vasily Saneblidze - Deputy Head of Anti-terrorist center MGB. Speaking about the problem of "wahhabism" in Pankissk gorge, Saneblidze emphasized that no crime has been registered that "supporters of this movement" would have committed it. He told that there is no validity in the information that "Wahhabist" are armed here. At the same time, even Chechens, who are subject to fashionable propaganda and are named "Wahhabists" by the Russian Special Services, do not recognize themselves as those and declare that they are only devoted Muslims, strictly sticking to Shari’at.

Afghan Taliban slam EU over Masood invitation
KABUL - Afghanistan's ruling Taliban said on Thursday that the invitation by the European Parliament to its archrival, commander Ahmad Shah Masood, would prolong conflict in the war-ravaged country.
"To invite him personally for this meeting is a tyranny against the Afghan people," Taliban Deputy Interior Minister Haji Mullah Khaksar told reporters.
"Because they (Europe) will give him the orders to fight more ... and that will cause the conflict to drag on," he added.
Khaksar's comments were the first Taliban response to Masood's groundbreaking trip, which will see him visit the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
Khaksar said it was unclear whether European Union member countries, particularly France, would provide Masood with military or financial backing.
"The issue of any assistance will become known after the end of his trip," he said.
Masood, the 47-year-old commander of Afghanistan's main anti-Taliban forces, appealed in Paris for foreign aid and said he was in favour of a moderate Islamic state in Afghanistan.
He said he was also raising an army of around 20,000 men to fight against the Taliban, who boast of building the world's purist Islamic state in a country wrecked by more than 20 years of war.
Khaksar said Masood's visit to the European parliament would not add to his prestige in Afghanistan.
"To be invited to a meeting in Europe cannot make one famous with the nation. One becomes important when the people accept him," he said.
The Taliban, who swept to power in 1996, control more than 90 percent of Afghanistan and have been internationally condemned for their poor human rights record, curbs on the employment and education of women and most recently for their destruction of historic Buddhist statues.

Differences between Russians and Armenians
Tension is prevailing in city of Verkhneuralsk of the Chelyabinsk area of the Russian Federation. Authorities are seriously concerned over the conflict between Armenian Diaspora and local Cossacks. Flash of mutual hatred may lead to armed conflict in the near future. The reason for the rising tension is series of fights in the city market. The Armenians actually are supervising lines, where trade in meat is conducted, with the use of force forbade visitors basically from the Cossack villages among dealers to reduce the price of their production.
Those in turn addressed with the complaint of the actions of Armenian Diaspora to the atamans, informs APN. It was decided to go to the market, having armed with the Cossack fighting lashes and in case of threat and requirements of raising the price, they should apply force to answer tit for tat. Law enforcement organs thus were ignored. Armenian Diaspora in city receives basically smuggled meat from Kazakhstan; it is brought from abroad bypassing customs and environmental health department. Therefore Cossacks consider themselves right and publicly threaten with punishment of Armenian dealers. The Office of Public Prosecutor and the Department of Internal Affairs of area do not react in any way to this situation.

The meeting of states on Caspian Sea is postponed
The meeting of working groups of five states situated around Caspian on development of the legal status of Caspian Sea, which was supposed to be held on April 5-6 in Baku, has been postponed indefinitely, as informed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan. It was expected that at the Baku meeting, experts will finish work on the project of the statement of Heads of Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Iran and Turkmenistan, which then will be adopted at summit in Turkmenbashi, planned in the middle of April. Now, probably, and terms of the summit are in doubt, though the special representative of the President of the Russian Federation over Caspian sea, Victor Kalyujnai arrived yesterday in Baku and declared that summit will not be put off. However some factors allow drawing the conclusion that the Heads of countries on Caspian again will not meet. Firstly, the project of the final document of summit is not coordinated. Secondly, the President of Azerbaijan, who is in USA, hardly will come to Baku during this term (April, 14-15). And Heads of others states situated on Caspian have not shown their readiness to appear in Turkmenbashi in the specific terms, with exception of the statements for necessity of summit.
