Russian fighters are heroes of war against women, children and old men.

Conference behind closed doors was held in Tbilisi by active workers of opposition of "Union of national forces " on the occasion of 10-anniversary of referendum on independence of Georgia and 62 anniversary of birthday of overthrown in 1992 of first President of country Zviad Gamsakhurdia. As was announced in the conference, which was taking place in Tbilisi House of actor named Khorav, by vice-President of Supreme Soviet of Republic of Gamsakhurdia times Nemo Burchuladze, in referendum on March 31, 1991, all Georgian have supported independence, and was participated by those living then outside the country, however referendum was boycotted by the one, who was living then in Moscow, former Minister for Foreign Affairs of the USSR Edward Shevardnadze. Burchuladze noted that inhabitants of Abkhazia and Tshinval region have taken part in referendum, with exception of Djav and Gudaut areas and city of Tkvarcheli also. In interview with Prime News, one of leaders of "Union of National Forces", Zviad Dzidziguri told that day of March 31 was also celebrated by widow of ex-President Manan, Archvadze - Gamsahurdia. The reason of separate celebration by Archvadze-Gamsakhurdia and her supporters of "these two significant dates", Dzidziguri called it "intrigues of present authorities of Georgia, which spend huge money to not allow merging of all truly national forces". "Union of National Forces" is going to celebrate 12th anniversary of tragic events in Tbilisi on April 9, 1989, when Soviet armies have severely suppressed meeting on Tbilisi prospectus of Rustaveli. But on April 9, supporters of Gamsahurdia will gather not any more in closed hall, but will carry out massive processions and meetings in streets of capital, told Dzidziguri. Meetings and gatherings in honor of anniversary of referendum on independence of Georgia and birthday of ex-President Zvaida Gamsahurdia were held on Saturday in Western Georgia.

In the meantime, leader of opposition parliamentary fraction "Traditionalist" Akaky Asatiani called authorities of Georgia to support Chechens in their struggle of independence. At the press conference, he told that present leadership of the country could not continue and develop course of the first president of country Zviada Gamsakhurdia to support Chechen Republic for creation of "Uniform Caucasian Organism". Asatiani arranged press conference in connection with 10-years anniversary of realization of referendum on independence of Georgia. Akaky Asatiani, working as head of the Supreme Soviet of Republic of Georgia during the times of Zviade Gamskhurdia, considers that present leadership of the country at all has no certain policy course in relation to Chechen Republic. After departure from Georgia in the beginning of 1992, Zviad Gamsakhurdia with his family lived in Grozny for a long time, using hospitality of ex-President of Chechen Republic and his personal friend Dzhokhar Dudaev. While in Grozny, he organized sessions of members of the then parliament of Georgia.
