Supreme
Court of Ukraine has cancelled the decision of Board of the Kiev city court on
repeated arrest of ex-vice-Premier Yulia Timoshenko. Thus, the Supreme Court has
confirmed legitimacy of decision of Pecher regional court about change of sanction
to arrest Julia Timoshenko.
Let's
remind that Julia Timoshenko has received the permission on repeated arrest
during stay in private clinic "Medicom", where she was shifted
directly from CIZO, where she stayed according to decision of the State Office
of Public Prosecutor about half a month. The board of the Kiev city court,
having denied decision of Pecher regional court by which Timoshenko was excluded
from arrest, did not protest against stay of Timoshenko in hospital. At the same
time, employees of the State Office of Public Prosecutor protected her exit from
clinic. Colleague of Julia Timoshenko, Alesandr Turchinov on Monday has
made a complaint about the decision of the Kiev city court on arrest of
Timoshenko in the Supreme Court of Ukraine in the morning.
On
Monday, chairman of the Supreme court, Vitaly Bojko has considered the complaint
of lawyer of Timoshenko, Victor Shvetsa to the decision of presidium of Kiev
city court in which the court cancelled decision of Pecher regional court of the
capital about cancellation of the sanction of the public prosecutor on arrest of
Timoshenko with closing dealing in this case. The Supreme Court of Ukraine has
upheld decision of Pecher regional court of Kiev on clearing from under arrest
of ex-vice-premier, the leader of party "Batkivshina" of Yulia
Timoshenko, having suspended the decision of presidium of the Kiev city court on
cancellation of this decision.
Taking
into account, that for the decision under the complaint needs studying of the
affair, and being guided by an item 387 Criminal - remedial codes of Ukraine,
the chairman of the Supreme Court decided "to stop execution of the
decision of presidium of the Kiev city court from March 30, 2001 concerning
Timoshenko Julia Vladimirovna before the ending of dealing by way of judicial
supervision ", press-service of Court informs.
The
head of administration of the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Litvin is convinced
that political crisis, which has burst in the country, is "well developed
combination", designed on long time. This action "resulted in such
impact to the country, which it did not know" and its consequences will be
felt for a long time, speaks Litvin.
"That
all initiators of scandal are only the weapon it is unequivocal", -
emphasized Litvin, meaning that for initiators of scandal in Ukraine, other
forces are standing. He also noted, "one political force, even such strong
as Socialist party, could not make it".
In
opinion of Litvin, as a result of political crisis "such impact has struck
the country, which it did not know" and its consequences will be felt for
long. Speaking about plans of opposition to carry out next protest action on
April 7, he noted that this initiative "in Ukraine has no support". As
he said, one of the purposes of opposition is its appeal to external world".
" But, well, if comes out 3 thousand more persons, and will tell that 30
thousand has come out, and what will it change in Ukraine? ", - asked
Litvin, and continued: "Resemble till May, then will part in holidays, then
once again will throw out the compromise... "
By
himself Latvin considers that "big troubles do not last for long, and it is
not necessary to pay attention to minute troubles". Whether it means the
close end of political crisis the gray cardinal of the state has not
told.
