We have already published our first edition about the
appeal of a Muslim daughter for the release of her mother Ahamadalieva Rahima,
who has been arrested by Karimov regime and is staying in a cellar of Ministry
of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan. Unique accusation have been leveled by
Karimov regime on this pious woman i.e. she is the wife of known theologian in
Uzbekistan and imam of the mosque named "Khoja Noorudin" at Tashkent
city, Ruhiddin Fakhruddinov. After daughter of Ahmadalieva made appeal, Karimov
regime began to pursue her also. In spite of the fact that we consider that
appeal and application was addressed to United Nations, OSCE and hardly
something will be done by similar so-called international organizations against
the torture activities of anti-Islamic Karimov regime, we proceed the request of
all Uzbek sisters and publish the desperate appeal of the unfortunate girl, who
is pursued by all power of repressive machinery of the totalitarian regime.

APPEAL
I, Maskhudova Odina with my companion brought this
appeal to your representation of United Nations in Tashkent on March 26. This
appeal included the request for help in freeing my mother, who is illegally
arrested, and is now in a cellar of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republic of
Uzbekistan. In representation of the United Nations, workers of militia in every
possible way tried not to allow us to enter the building and to take away copies
of our appeal. We somehow could hand over the letter to the secretary in
reception. But we saw unfortunately that employee of militia came to us, started
to make hints to that secretary that she should not hand over this letter to
anybody, and give it to him. Then militiamen actually took away the appeal from
her. The secretary without the slightest resistance handed over the appeal to
militia. We, having seen this, were surprised that the employee of such
organization as the United Nations, work at the order of militia. It appears,
employees of this establishment work on orders of militia, and we came here with
hope to receive help against the discriminatory treatment of the Ministry of
Internal Affairs with us. Here started our worries. Having thought that
militiamen can arrest us, as we had refused to hand over the appeal to him. We
thought it necessary to leave this place as soon as possible. As, we had no
other option, we asked the secretary to accompany us till exit. But she did not
pay any attention to our request, and told that we can go, and nobody will touch
us. When we left the building of the international organization, heard this
secretary, coming near to militiamen, speaks: "Is it not possible to take
away them silently, so that our reputation is not spoiled? "
As soon as we left representation of the United Nations,
employees of militia detained us and took away to ROVD of Mirabad area. We were
held there for 4 hours, and insulted us by such obscene expressions, that
language will not utter those words to transfer. They called someone from the
Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the incoming employees took away us to
Ministry. We again came into the hands of this terrible Adik. He started
strongly abusing us, and especially me. "Now I shall not call you a person,
but will treat you like animal! ", - he spoke. I addressed United Nations
to rescue us from barbarity of this Adik. It is possible to tell, that those
employees as earlier handed over me to him again. Adik strongly threatened my
companion and me, under insults forced us to write an explanatory note. That was
what they dictated, and we wrote what they spoke. Adik forced me to pen down,
"I did not write appeal to Kofi Annan on March 26, and I do not know, who
has written it". I being afraid, as the past time, wrote what he wanted.
Now he is distributing letters to all international organizations, deceives them
with false information. He wants to show in the violent way that my previous
appeal was false.
Dear Mr. Secretary General, I ask you to help me in the
release of my mother and me from hands of this Adik and his employees. Once
again I confirm the appeal to you on March 26. I am waiting for your answer.
