One of leaders of opposition,
ex-vice-Premier Julia Timoshenko declared that she is ready "to wash linen"
in a pre-election staff of the leader of the nation balloting for the post of
President. But while such leader is not present, and Timoshenko herself is going
to remove from office working President Leonid Kuchma and to take authority from
not only fragile, but completely ailing hands and to construct strong and
independent "Ukrainian State".
"There is a constitutional order,
how to remove the President of the country. And using this order, it is
necessary to remove the present President", - emphasized former
vice-Premier and the leader of party "Batkivshina".
Julia Timoshenko asserts that in
desire to remove Kuchma from a post of the President personal ambitions, and
that this person has done too much bad for the state, therefore it remained
dependent on surrounding regions, as it can not lean against people any more.
" It is a case when in general anything which is made personal by people,
though it is not personal, and cannot be... The end Result for me is absolutely
concrete: to make Ukraine competitive in the world and the rich country. But for
a while it is impossible. Also simply it is necessary to remove that what resist
this process", she declared.
On post of the President of Ukraine,
Timoshenko sees the strong leader ready to work with team. "If it will be
necessary to unit the nation around any other national leader, I shall do that
also. If I see that this leader has an opportunity to revive the country ",
she declared in her interview with Russian newspaper "ÊîììåðñàíòÚ".
"If I shall see a real leader in
Ukraine, who is ready to give life for the country... These are not big words,
it is not any pathetics in general – supreme leadership of the country is
simply obliged to live in such moral measures, - then I am ready to wash linen
in his pre-election staff ", declared Timoshenko.
But while she does not see this team,
thus wishes to generate it by herself. Timoshenko is very much sure in her
actions: "if the parties with which I am now cooperating, will brake the
deal, I can achieve the required results by myself", declared Timoshenko.
At the same time, speaking about
government, Timoshenko declared: "you know, if so to look, anybody is not
doing better than me! It has no value for me to do this work on which post.
Whether it will be Presidential or Premier... Or vice-Premier".
She is sure that she will come to
power. "It is now important for me, that all political forces in the
country, which today understand, that without key changes including resignation
of the President, it is impossible to move the country further... It is
important for me that they even do not resist each other", declared
Timoshenko, having emphasized that majority of the Ukrainian politicians is
dominated by personal interests above state, "over interests of the nation
".
The main priority of the activity in
power, Timoshenko considers the reinforcement of "Ukrainian power" in
the world. In addition to it, she is going to limit exclusive influence of
Russia on the Ukrainian power. " I know, that when I sooner or later come
to the power, I shall try... And swiftly" for a gas pipeline around Russia,
- told former vice-premier.
