After many published announcements of Kremlin about the
fact that Chechen Mujahideen are not capable of some carrying out any serious
fighting operations, the latest incident of Argun sounded for about two days and
again there is big fatty question in connection with adequateness of valuation
of Moscow about the situation in Caucasus and perspectives of occupational
groups in Ichkeria. Being in military triangle, Russian “powerholders”
recently demonstrated virtual optimism on the so-called special meeting in
Essentukah, which incidently caused the feeling of absolute meaninglessness
after the meeting in Khankala. Ivanov, Grizlov and Patrushev even found the
urgency to deliver repeated and published exposure of “bluff of fighters”,
who are not capable of doing any thing serious, except terrorist actions and
firing from some corners”.
Incident of Argun exposed such bluffs. Not the Chechens but Russians
themselves did it. “Fighters” remained rarely alive and unpredicted. Not
ashamed of presence of the immense number of Russian soldiers in the city,
Mujahideen in the red-day light attacked on those aggressors, who planned to
conduct a series of subversive activities against peaceful dwellers of Argun.
Not expecting such an impudence from “destroying fighters”, Russian
occupants were forced to leave the city within several hours and call, for their
help ten thousand of soldiers, who entered the city from three directions –
Khankala, Gudermes and Shali. Till the evening, when Russian soldiers came close
to Argun, Mujahideen left the city. As a result of one-day fighting on Monday,
40 Russian soldiers and officers were killed and and more than 10 units of
armored vehicles were destroyed. Inspite of the desperate attempts of the
command of occupants to hide their losses, there are conflicting explanations of
the incident and witnesses of aggressors actually asserted the statistics of
Chechen side. Incident of Argun forced the Russian to recognize the fact, that
divisions of Chechen Mujahideen are not only capable of fighting but possess the
extraordinary potential for fulfilling wide-scale fighting tasks aimed at
neutralization and physical liquidation of Russian occupational groups.
This was the reason for emotional commentary of general staff of Ministry
of Defense of RF, who announced in a roundabout way that “incident of Argun
prove that fighters are ready for massive action in Chechnya” and this is not
known to Moscow. Though this just glad news have never been hided by Chechens
themselves. After fights in Argun, as it is customary for the Russians in such
incidents, Kremlin started to publically accept the truth and explain “due to
some reason, tens of armed fighters penetrated the city”. The main justifying
thesis in the latest explanations became the known message about the fact that
“fighters are hiding under the disguise of peaceful dwellers” and therefore
it is very difficult to find them. Thus this thesis does cause the white
interest of swift staff of Kremlin. As shown in their daily information, they
don’t agree to the news of “disguise of fighters” in attacks on military
convoys and reports of Russian staff about the aerial bombardment on the
mountainous bases of Mujahideen.
If there are mountainous bases, means there are armed groups, who are not
hiding in the mask of peaceful residents, and on contrary – with all their
exposure and behaviour demonstrate their presence to the enemy. The incident of
Argun once again has proved the lie of all the announcements of Moscow about the
situation in Chechnya. The lie of Kremlin was proved by Moscow puppets Kadyrov
also, who in an incidental call to the Chechen nation confessed that “Russian
military are defending only themselves, which resulted in the huge losses of
Argun”.
