Amir Abu-Jafar became Shahid

Headquarters of the Supreme Military Majlise Shoorah reports that commander of special subdivision of Chechen mujahideen, which belongs to the military Majlise, Amir Abu-Jafar became Shahid.

Abu-Jafar arrived in Chechnya from Yemen in the period of the first Russian-Chechen war and actively participated in the battles against Russian aggressors. Commander of a group of Turkish volunteers Amir Abu-Bekir died alongside Abu-Jafar.  Both commanders died of landmine explosion when performing reconnaissance.

Chechen side reports that during the last four days eight Chechen mujahideen died including two Islamic volunteers.  Three Chechen combatants from the subdivision of Amir-Halim exploded on a mine in the populated area Stariye Atagi when planting a radio-controlled field charge.  Two more combatants died in crossfire in their own villages, Tsatsa-Vedeno and Noviye Atagi.  A grenadier from the subdivision of Amir Islam died during a battle near Yalkhoi-Mohk. 

57 aggressors killed in one day

Mujahideen commandment reports about large battle near Yalkhoi-Mohk of Nozhai-Yurt region of CRI. Special subdivision of Amir Imran attacked a group of Russian paratroopers, which was moving forward to perform reprisal operations in the area.  Mujahideen met enemy with barrage of grenades and machine gunfire.  In the course of the fierce battle Russian specnaz armored car BMP was destroyed and three more armored vehicles were put out of action.  In the battle, according to the Chechen side, 12 aggressors were killed and not less than 15 were injured.  On the side of Chechens one fighter became Shahid and 5 mujahideen were injured.

Not less than 35 occupants were destroyed as a result of explosion of an armored train in the area of Naurskaya station on the south of the country.  Headquarters of the Chechen mujahideen commandment reports that 6 field charges had been laid on the railway track and that they exploded almost simultaneously.  The armored train was completely destroyed in the explosion.  Chechen reconnaissance men and local residents give the same number of killed aggressors, from 35 to 40.  Corpses of occupants were loaded on a helicopter and were transferred in the direction of Mozdok.  The Russian side, in turn, after acknowledging the fact of the armored train’s explosion, reported about the injury of only 3 soldiers. 

Along the road that connects a micro-district of Johar and the settlement Staraya Sunzha an offensive group of Chechen fighters exploded 2 BTR troop carriers of occupants.  6 soldiers of the enemy were killed.  In Argun, in the last day as well, 2 BTR carriers of aggressors were exploded.  Furthermore, in Argun according to the sentence of Shariah court two national traitors, who actively co-operated with the occupational regime, were executed.  Chechen side reports about a massive punitive operation here.
