of Supreme Military Majlisul Shoorah reports that the conference of the SMMS was
held under the leadership of amir of Majlisul Shamil Basaev.
The conference took place in of the southern regions of the country. Chechen side reports also that commanders, who were not able
to attend the conference personally, contacted Basaev in the course of the
meeting of the Majlisul. The
meeting of the Majlisul had a covert character.

commandment spread a report about engagements of separate mobile special
subdivisions of Chechen combatants with detachments of the occupational grouping
in Johar, Gudermes, Argun, and in Shelovskoi, Naur, Shatoi and Nozhai-Yurt
regions of the country. In
settlement Alkhan-Kala crossfire with the enemy lasted three days.
Commander of the Islamic regiment of special destination Arbi Baraev told
our correspondent that Russians detonated a house in Alkhan-Kala, where he spent
a night some time ago. The owners
of the house were brutally beaten by occupants.
The most violent engagements
with the enemy over the last day took place in the region of Dyshni-Yurt village. Here, in the data of the Chechen side, 2 cars UAZ and a BTR
of the grouping of internal army, which mainly consists of the so-called “contract-men”.
Not less than 10 mercenaries were killed in the course battle.
In the area of Lower Kurchaloi village, a diversion group of mujahideen
exploded a BDM (battle car of paratroopers) and destroyed 4 Russian specnaz
(special detachment) men.
Chechen side reports about
massive reprisal actions of the Russian occupational grouping in the villages
Tsa-Vedeno, Alkhan-Kala, Prigorodnoye, Tsatsan-Yurt, Geldygen, Dyshni-Vedeno,
Berkat-Yurt, Staraya Sunzha, Dolinskiy, Stariye and Noviye Atagi, Chiri-Yurt and
in a number of other populated areas of CRI.
According to preliminary data, during the punitive operations about
60civilians were killed and not less than 400 people were taken hostages, mainly
youth in the age of 10 to 35 years. Majority
of the latter is held in concentration camps on the territory of Khankala as
well as in bus parks PAP-5, PAP-1 and in the concentration camp in Urus-Martan.
The fate of the hostages is unknown.
In Alkhan-Yurt 15 occupants
were destroyed
Chechen
commandment reports that as a result of operation in settlement Alkhan-Yurt of
the special subdivision “Badr” from the Islamic regiment of special
destination, 15 occupants were destroyed. Car convoy of aggressors was passing along the outskirts of
the village in the direction of Urus-Martan, when Chechen mujahideen attacked
it. Mass barrage of grenade fire
was launched against the convoy.

According
to the information of the Chechen side, in the region of Geldygen village, an
attack squad of Chechen combatants implemented a special operation on
destruction of the so-called military commandant of the occupational forces in
Kurchaloi region of CRI. The Russian general was heavily injured as a result of
explosion of UAZ car and the subsequent submachine gun fire. The general was taken by helicopter to Mozdok, then,
according to some data, to Mozdok. Commandment
of mujahideen confirmed earlier late at night the information that separate
offensive subdivisions of the Chechen army have started planned battle
undertakings in the mountainous part of North Ossetia.
As a result of one battle operation, two war cars and one BDRM were
exploded on the military Georgian road; consequently, 4 aggressors were
destroyed and not less than 5 were injured.
