Nodar Ramazashvili, interrogated as the witness on litigation on accusation in
participation of the unoccurred act of terrorism against President of Georgia,
Edward Shevardnadze in May, 1999, declared that organization of act of terrorism
was supervised by former Chief of a State Security, Igor Georgadze. According to
the witness of arrested persons on accusation of the organization of act of
terrorism Archil Panjikidze and late Temur Papuashvili offered him to
participate in preparation of act of terrorism in March, 1999. In case of the
consent, Nodar Ramazashvili, according to his words, should head the armed
group. Nodar Ramazashvili declared that he accepted offer of Archila Panjikidze
and Temur Papuashvili, but this very day submitted to management on extreme
situations of the official report in which this offer was described in detail.
The operative group was urgently generated, in parallel Nodar Ramazshvili
supported connections with organizers of act of terrorism. According to the
witness, organizers of unhappened act of terrorism received tasks directly from
Igor Georgadze. Some times Nodar Ramazashvili itself spoke with Igor Georgadze,
once he with the help of the leader of Uniform Communist Party Panteleymona
Georgadze and of some persons contacted the former Chief of State Security by
mobile phone from Muhatgverd cemeteries. Nodar Ramazashvili is sure that he
spoke with Igor Georgadze as he put forward some questions, on which no one
except him could answer. As he said, according to Igor Georgadze's instructions,
first of all they had to liquidate Minister of Internal Affairs Kahu Targamadze,
in then detain heads of all other power ministries, the Chairman of Parliament,
Zurab Zhvaniya and President of the country Edward Shevardnadze. It was planned
to liquidate any resistance of these persons together with members of their
families, he noted. Organizers of act of terrorism should receive money and the
weapon from Russia, the witness told. Preparation of participants of act of
terrorism was to made by number from 300 up to 500 person. According to Nodar
Ramazashvili, organizers of act of terrorism gathered at office of firm of
detectives "Nectar", organized in Tbilisi one of accused Otar
Melikidze. Nodar Ramazashvili was detained in 1992 on accusation of change of
native land and later he is released. Nodar Ramazashvili is relative of Archila
Pandzhikidze. Publishing this information through the Georgian MASS-MEDIA,
Tbilisi once again unambiguously specified what the Kremlin stood and continues
to stand up for all in the slightest degree of serious acts of terrorism which
are happening in Georgia. Moscow, despite of numerous assurances about
unacceptability of methods of terror in struggle for influence in Republics of
Southern Caucasus, actively practices terror, carefully masking the actions. It
is interesting that wide publicity of the indication of colonel Ramazashvili
received literally on the eve of the so-called summit of the CIS, which began in
Minsk.
