A
mobile subdivision of Chechen mujahideen attacked a war convoy of Russian
aggressors between the settlements Mayertup and Bachi-Yurt.
As a result of the attack two units of armored machinery and not less
than 13 soldiers of the enemy were destroyed.
Several hours after the battle Russian occupants blocked the villages
Mayertup and Bachi-Yurt. They took
hostages 10 civilians from the villages. Inhabitants
of the blocked villages gathered for a rally of protest near by a Russian
checkpoint with the demand to release the hostages, who have not relation to
mujahideen. In retaliation, the Russians fired at the crowd of
demonstrators thus killing one and wounding several people.
However, people refused to disperse.
Subdivisions
of Special Forces directed at the people armored machinery followed by the
infantry of aggressors. One of
mujahideen, who was in the crowd of demonstrators, suddenly rushed to the
Russians and blew up himself. It
turned out later that the mujahideen who became shahid had tied himself with
trinitrotoluene. As a result of the
attack of the mujahideen 4 occupants were killed and at least 10 were injured.
After the incident Russian armored machinery striked the villages
Mayertup and Bachi-Yurt. As a
result of the firing 3 people were killed and at least 18 were wounded.
In
Gudermes, a diversion group belonging to the Islamic brigade
"Jundullah" exploded a car URAL with 15 aggressors.
The explosion took place not far from PMK-8.
The diversion action resulted in the destruction of 8 aggressors.
