of Chechen mujahideen report that crossfire with the enemy and explosions of
military machines continue practically on all territory of CRI.
Thus, on outskirts of Alkhan-Kala village a diversion group of mujahideen
from Islamic regiment for special assignment attacked 2 Russian BTR with SPECNAZ
men who were trying to enter the village.
The short battle occurred on a bridge.
The armored machines of the enemy were destroyed and 11 aggressors were
killed as a result of the attack. Mobile groups of mujahideen attacked the enemy
in Staropromyslovski region not far from the regional checkpoint of the State
Automobile Inspection on crossroads, in Johar.
A military convoy of the occupants was exposed to a fire.
One car GAZ 66 was burned down and not less than 5 occupants were killed
as a result of direct hitting of a grenade shot.
BTR and BRDM were put out of action.
Other group of mujahideen fired a checkpoint of the enemy in Zavodskoi
region between “Okrujnaya” bus stop and old automobile filling station on
Chernorechie settlement side. Reportedly,
URAL was blown up and 5 soldiers were destroyed.
Combatants
of Islamic Shali battalion of Rizvan Chitigov exploded aggressors BTR using
antitank mines on outskirts of Shali. Crew
of the armored machine was completely destroyed.
A BMP was blown up on a road leading to Noviye Atagi.
One soldier was killed and not less than 5 heavily wounded.
Chechen side also reports about blowing up a BTR on a road between Shali
and Germenchug. Crossfire between
Russian occupational-terrorists formations and subdivisions of Chechen
mujahideen also took place in Vedeno, near Janni-Vedeno village already known by
everyone. According to the
data of Chechen side 3 aggressors were destroyed and URAL vehicle was burned
down as a result of machine gun shooting. It
is also reported about blowing up military machines of the occupants in
Gudermes. Here, 3 units of machines
and 1 BTR were destroyed during the last weekend.
Not less than 9 soldiers were killed.
Battles in the south of the
country
Commandment
headquarters of the Chechen mujahideen report about battles in the south of the
country and successful diversion actions in the capital.
In the populated area Tsentaroi mobile detachment of Chechen militants
attacked a war convoy of aggressors, which was returning after a series of
reprisal actions in Nozhai-Yurt region of CRI to Gudermes region.
Chechen sources report about a 50-minute crossfire and destruction of 2
units of Russian armored enginery. According
to commander of mujahideen detachment not less than 8 aggressors were killed in
the engagement. There are no losses
on the Chechen side. Near Belgatoi
a group of mujahideen shot a car convoy of aggressors with mortars thus
destroying one vehicle URAL and putting out of operation one escort BTR troop
carrier. Combatants of a separate
Dagestani battalion commanded by Amir Rabbani also report about crossfire with
enemy. Dagestani mujahideen
attacked a group of paratroopers based in the settlements Upper and Lower
Kurchali. Amir Rabbani states that
in the course of the clash with aggressors at least 10 specnaz (special forces)
men. The Dagestani lost one mujahid,
4 combatants were injured slightly.
