Commenting
on the Zionist aggression against Syria and Lebanon and the enemy’s aerial
bombardment of the Syrian Arab army’s radar position in the Bekaa valley, a
responsible source in the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, stated the
following:
The
sinful Zionist aggression against a position for the Syrian Arab army in the
Bekaa affirm the aggressive nature of the Zionist entity towards our Nation
especially its steadfast and resistance forces.
We,
in the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, condemn this grave aggression on
Syria and Lebanon and declare our siding, in addition to our people, alongside
the two sisterly countries and our support to our brothers in the resistance in
Lebanon.
We
urge our Arab and Islamic Nation to adopt a decisive stand in support of our
brothers in Syria and Lebanon and our people in Palestine that would develop
from condemnation to practical measures.
The
expansion of the Zionist aggression, which falls in line with nature of that
enemy, and execution of Sharon and his government’s schemes would open the
door wide open before similar aggressions against other Arab countries.
Consequently
our Nation is called upon to be prepared for such a possibility and to provide
mechanisms of effective backing to resistance and steadfastness to confront such
aggressions.
This
attack puts the whole world before its responsibility namely to support our
causes in face of Zionist occupation of our Arab lands in Palestine, Syria and
Lebanon and its terrorist practices against us.
It
further sends a clear message to those concerned that continuation of support to
that usurping, terrorist entity means more aggression the responsibility of
which must be shouldered by those providing cover and backing to the Zionist
entity.
