Clashes in Argun and Johar

Headquarters of Chechen mujahideen commandment report about battle clashes in Argun town.  Mobile subdivisions of Chechen combatants attacked car convoy of Russian aggressors on north outskirts of the town. Chairman of commander of Islamic brigade “Djundulla”, amir Ismail reported to our correspondent about destroying one car and 5 Russian occupants during the battle.  

One more car was put out of action.  Aggressors BRT was blown up along a road between Argun and Mesker-Yurt village. Reportedly 4 occupants were killed. Mobile subdivisions of Chechen mujahideen continue to perform diversion actions in Johar. 

Thus, in Staropromyslovski region of the town UAZ car with 4 occupants was blown up on a road leading to Katayama settlement. Aggressors BTR was put out of action by shot from grenade thrower in area of “People friendship” Square.      

According to Chechen side one more armored machine, BRDM, was blown up in 6^th district of the town. Not less than 3 aggressors were killed.  It is also reported about crossfire in Oktyabrski region of the town, in 12^th settlement.  There, a group of mujahideen suddenly attacked patrol detachment of aggressors. 4 aggressors were destroyed in the course of crossfire.

Chechen side also reports about blowing up 2 units of armored machines in region of Starie Atagi and Chiri-Yurt settlement. Combatants of special subdivision of amir Yakub and amir Djambulat together carried out operation against occupants. At least 10 aggressors were destroyed during this operation.

Six-ended stars were cut out on chests of hostages

According to Russian data “10 civil people were mutilated in the course of separate violation made by Russian military when performing cleansing in Assinovskaya and Sernovodskya.”  Moscow, especially stresses out that “these violations didn’t bear mass character.”

Director of Moscow bureau of international law defending organization “Human Rights Watch” Ditrih Lohman has different opinion.  In interview to radio “German wave” he stated that “10 people is, of course just ridiculous number.  We know that there were much more. 

First, several hundred people were detained without any reason. 

Facts of marauding are known. There were numerous complaints about using physical force, electricity. May be, people are intimidated and they take back their statements.” 

Meanwhile, new facts of sadistic reprisals of occupants upon civilian Chechens are revealed. Near Kurchaloi, Russians threw three peace dwellers of the village that were taken hostage on June 30.  

These are brothers, Shamil and Imam Bekhoevs and Khamzat Musanilov. All of them are unconscious. Traces of brutal sadistic humiliations are seen on their bodies. The so-called Jewish six-ended stars of David are cut out with knife on their chests.
