MUZAFFARABAD:
In Occupied Kashmir, the high-spirited mujahideen of Jaish-i-Muhammad (Sallallahu
`Alaihe Wasallam) have killed 47 Indian soldiers including a major and a captain.
Eleven mujahideen including 7 from Jaish embraced shahadah.
In Dazrzadai,
a suburb of Kupwara district, Jaish mujahideen in collaboration with other
mujahideen killed a major and a second in command of the Indian army and
inflicted injuries to a number of Indian soldiers. In another encounter 3
mujahideen were martyred, one of them Mudassir Naved alias Furqan from Sargodha
belonged to the Jaish.
In Chatro area of district Dodha, Mujahideen of Jaish attacked the R.R Security
personnel, killing seven and injuring dozens of soldiers.
In another
attack on the Indian forces, Mujahideen of Jaish killed 5 Indian troops at
Sarmarg near Kupwara and 4 at Tanmarg. Muhammad Mushtaq alias Khalid hailing
from Occupied Kashmir embraced shahadah during the encounter. In another action
at Bandipura, mujahideen of Jaish and other organizations jointly gunned down 3
Indian forces. Two of the mujahideen are reported to be martyred.
In Tehsil
Mandi of district Poonch, the mujahideen were going on a special mission with
commander Bilal when they suddenly came across Indian army. An exchange of fire
took place, leaving a dozen of Indian troops killed. Three mujahideen were
martyred in the gunbattle. Those who attained shahadah were commander Bilal of
Rahimyar Khan, Saeed Farooq of Karachi and Zahid Iqbal of Akhora. In Rusbangli,
a suburb of district Kupwara, mujahideen of Jaish killed 6 Indian forces
including a captain.
In Tehsil
Sarankot of district Poonch, Indian army on receiving a tip-off opened fire
sieged the mujahideen. A bloody encounter started which was still going on till
the last reports were received. However, 15 Indian soldiers had been killed and
many injured, the report said. According to mujahideen sources, dead-bodies of
Indian soldiers were still lying in front of them.
