Mujahideen
Forces Shake up Johar
(Grozny):
Russian soldiers and Chechen traitors have both been targeted in a
number of pinpoint operations in Johar, executed by the Mujahideen. A BTR
armoured vehicle was completely burnt out with all of its occupants, when a
Mujahideen Unit destroyed it using a radio-controlled mine. A traitor was blown
to pieces when the same unit planted another mine near a Russian post. The
Mujahideen detonated the mine when a group of Russian soldiers, accompanied by
the traitor approached it. Two Russians were also killed and more were wounded.
Even though these operations manage to destroy a small number of soldiers and
traitors at a time, the fact that they are a regular occurrence all over
Chechnya makes them all the more effective. The thought of being targeted by one
of these operations is a concern, which keeps Russian soldiers ever vigilant and
very nervous, wondering if their turn is next or whether they will live to see
another day.
Russians
Acknowledge Losing a Large Numbers of Soldiers:
The
Russian news agency, Interfax, reported on Sunday that a landmine destroyed a
BTR armoured vehicle in Johar. They further added that when reinforcements
arrived to tend to the wounded, an exchange of fire took place after Mujahideen
snipers attacked them. It was reported that two Russian soldiers and a Chechen
officer were killed. The Russian TV station NTV, reported that a total of 12
Russian soldiers and 2 officers were killed this week.
Interfax
further reported that three were killed and many more were wounded as a result
of an explosion at the Russian ammunition storage facility in the district of
Porianeyy. Furthermore, Russian command reported that Russian posts came under
attack a total 87 times during the past week. 49 of which were in the capital
Johar.
Civilian
Demonstrations Continue to Gain Strength:
As
Russian cruelty and barbaric treatment of civilians reached new heights in
recent weeks, civil demonstrations against Russia continue. A large number of
civilians gathered on the road leading to Ingushetia, demanding Russia to
withdraw from Chechnya. And however much they try, Russians are unable to put a
stop to these demonstrations, with all their efforts failing miserably.
Commander
Noorudeen Earns Martyrdom:
During
a military operation in Johar over the weekend, Commander Saqriev Muhammad
Noorudeen was chosen by Allah (SWT) and awarded with martyrdom. It occurred when
a group of Mujahideen, including the Commander launched an attack on a house in
the Zovodsky district of the capital. The targets were members of the pro-Moscow
Chechen police, of whom two were killed, one of them being the deputy police
chief of the district. During the attack, the son of one of the traitors, who
was present, fired a pistol at the Mujahideen, proving fatal for our Commander
and another Mujahid. The assailant was also wounded in the subsequent return
fire from the Mujahideen. May Allah grant them a place in the highest level of
Paradise - Jannatul Firdaus.
It
should be noted that Commander Noorudeen was one of the more senior commanders
and a member of the Mujahideen Military Command Council (MMCC). He commanded a
large number of Mujahideen and was known for being one of the most brave and
fearless commanders when fighting the enemy.
