Jerusalem
- Israeli occupation troops in the West Bank today assassinated a Palestinian
Islamic activist in Nablus as part of the Zionist regime's ongoing campaign of
terror against the Palestinians.
Palestinian
sources said Israeli occupation troops stationed at a hilltop overlooking the
town of Nablus fired 6-8 electronically-guided missiles on the car of Salah
Darwaza, 36, killing him immediately.
Darwaza
reportedly was driving his car in the Tuffah neighborhood, when the missiles
rained on him, turning the car into burned twisted metal and himself into
incinerated flesh.
Sources
at the Rafidya hospital said Darwaza, a father of six children, was mutilated
beyond recognition.
The
Israeli occupation army admitted it carried out the killing, alleging that
Darwaza had been active in the resistance against the Zionists.
The assassination of
Palestinians by Israeli army terrorists has become a daily happening, with the
average of one or two assassinations perpetrated a day.
The
murder is carried out while the Zionist regime continues to incite the world
against Palestinian "violence." Profile of martyr Salah

Danish
justice minister threatens to arrest Zionist ambassador- designate for
involvement in torture
Occupied
Jerusalem
- The Danish Justice minister France Hansen has threatened to arrest Israeli
ambassador-designate , Carmi Gillon, if he arrives in Denmark, because of
Gillon's involvement in torture.
The
Israeli state-run radio on Wednesday quoted Hansen as saying that Denmark must
arrest Gillon because the country
is committed to the United Nations to arrest persons responsible for torturing
prisoners.
On
Tuesday, Israeli foreign minister Shimon Peres defended the decision to appoint
Gillon ambassador to Denmark. He
described him as a "sensitive
person" and "a man of peace." He added that Gallon "served
his country in difficult times." Peres asked western countries to
understand Israel's "need" to employ torture in order to fight
Palestinian resistance. Peres, who was speaking in the Zionist parliament, the
Knesset, asked "what else can extract confessions from the Palestinians."
Gillon
himself performed torture on Palestinian inmates when he worked as interrogator
for Israel's domestic intelligence agency, the Shin Bet, in the 1970s. Former
Palestinian inmates gave detailed testimonies about the methods Gillon used in
torturing the Palestinians which included merciless beating, suffocating,
electric shocks, hooding, sleep deprivation, and shaking.
A
number of Palestinian inmates died
as a result of torture at the hands of Zionist interrogators. Israel is the only
country in the world in which torture is sanctioned by the law. Sabri:
Jews already erected pillars of their alleged temple
Occupied
Jerusalem -
Mufti of Al-Quds Sheikh Ekrema Sabri has said that Zionist occupation
authorities had started building a temple alongside the holy Aqsa Mosque
adjacent to the Buraq Wall, which the Jews call the Wailing Wall.
Sheikh
Sabri, in a statement to the newspaper ‘Al-Shark Al-Awsat’, said that the
foundations of that temple were already completed at the entrance to Maghareba
gate of the Haram Al-Sharif.
He
said that area of that temple was 125 meters long and 80 meters wide. The Mufti
noted that “Israel” had started implementing the second part of the
temple’s construction scheme two weeks ago.
The
scholars and propagators authority in Al-Quds issued a statement on the occasion
calling on Muslims to do something, “silence is no longer acceptable,
statements and condemnations are no longer useful … there must be a serious
Arab and Islamic stand.”
The
statement appealed to the Arab and Islamic Nation to confront the Zionist
devilish plot to build the alleged temple, which would mean destruction of the
Muslims’ first Qibla and third holiest shrine, before it was too late.
