To
the information from Chechen Republic where bitter bloody war is already passing
for two years there is an indifferent attitude in Germany as well. Information
on assaults of Russian convoys and mass retaliatory actions of occupants all
less often appear on pages of German press. However during last days, the
Chechen topic began to be discussed on pages of German newspapers more
vigorously. It is connected with recent "hijacking" of the bus in
Stavropol territory, which, in opinion of Chechen side, was organized by Russian
FSB for only propaganda purposes.
Different
newspapers with different point of view highlighted this event, on a course of
having recollected, that bloody war proceeds in Caucasus. So the influential
newspaper Frankfurter Rundshai " named abduction of the bus "as one
more terrorist act in a long number accomplished by Chechen separatists ".
Instead of less influential "Frankfurter Algemaine Tsaitung " instead
of term "terrorist" used a word collocation - " the person,
who seized hostages".
The
most critical material in relation to a situation in Caucasus and to actions of
Russia became the commentary of the known German journalist of Franc Herold,
published in the newspaper " Berliner Tsaitung ". Terrorist and
criminal actions of the Russian occupants are designated in it. Franc Herold
informs on possible fast approach of mujahideen and establishes, that "
Vladimir Putin has seriously miscalculated, when declared half-year back that
situation in Chechen Republic is under the control ".
Since
then - under influence of all new statistics on the Russian losses - temper in
the Russian society vary slowly, but steadily. In the beginning of this war, it
was supported by majority of Russians. Some, writes Herold, "
thirsted revenge for explosions in the Russian cities, whose victims become more
than 300 peace inhabitants. Other hoped for restoration of law and order ".
Now three quarters of Russians considered, that Putin has not achieved in the
Chechen Republic any of the purposes declared by him, and that Kremlin does not
have any concept, capable of improving the condition.
The
journalist considers it as one of main impediments in a way of settlement is
Putin who categorically excluded till now a possibility of negotiations with
legal representative of Chechen Republic, Aslan Мaskhadov.
Probably, the newspaper writes, that now the Kremlin nevertheless will rethink
it before the person of " far self-disintegration of Caucasian grouping of
the Russian army. Its separate parts compete one another for the control above
petroleum deposits in the Chechen Republic and even enter in this occasion
firing during which the Russian soldiers perish from bullets of the comrades
", is spoken in a metropolitan material "Berliner Zeitung".
