Deputies
of Polish Parliament and senators have called upon Kremlin to begin negotiations
with Maskhadov. In front of building of general representation of Russian
Federation in Poland, protest action against war in Chechen Republic was staged.
Several hundred people took part in the protest. There were numerous
representatives of public and political parties, movements of the Polish
Republic.
The
action was characterized by support of appeal of Polish deputies to leadership
of Russian Federation. In this, is spoken about continuing bloodshed in Chechen
Republic, which resulted in loss lives of tens thousand people.
For
prevention of bloodshed, Polish deputies demanded to begin negotiations with
legitimate leader of Chechen Republic, Aslan Maskhadov. Our sources in Poland
inform, under the appeal were put signatures of about 100 deputies and senators
of Polish Parliament. Official representative of Chechen Republic of Ichkeria to
Poland, Ramazan Ampukaev in telephone conversation with journalists has
specified, that 96 representatives of Rzeczypospolitec Polskej (Polish Republic)
signed the document.
The
text of the appeal begins as follows: " we, undersigned deputies and
Senators of Rzeczypospolitec Polskej (Polish Republic AK) address to authorities
of Russian Federation with call-up to begin peace Russo-Chechen negotiations,
with participation of President of Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, Aslan
Maskhadov. We are sure, that bloody war resulting in thousand of human victims,
should be completed by final peace treaty, and it is possible only on
achievement of the consent of actual political leader of Chechens ".
Making
comments on appeal of Polish parliament members, representative of the Chechen
Republic has emphasized on its political importance. " Such appeal is an
important political step, which testifies, that it supports prompt termination
of war in Caucasus and condemn aggression of Russia on state level in Poland
" - emphasized Ampukaev.
