Five
years have passed since August 6th - memorable day when divisions of
Chechen armed forces entered Grozny city (nowadays Johar) and freed the capital
from Russian invaders. Storm of Grozny became shinning achievement of Chechen
military art, which now is studied in many academies and military staffs of
leading world powers and countries of NATO. The
correspondent of "Caucasus - centre" briefly interviewed commander of
Islamic brigade, Rizwan Ahmadov, who commented on those events and told about
recent events.
August
6, 1996, mujahideen showed Russian kafirs, that number of soldiers is not the
not a decisive factor in victory or defeat. We, Muslims look at it from
positions of Holy Koran and Sunnah of our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Victory and
defeat is from Allah. And it is obvious to us. I think, that the future events,
which are expected in the near future, will prove for Russian kafirs, more
terrible and shameful than the incident on August 6, 1996. I am sure in it,
because I know about the preparation, which is carried out and will be carried
out by mujahideen. We believe in the Help of Allah and for us, it is enough. The
fresh example of morals and fighting capacity of our mujahideen are events in
Shelkovskaya area, which have taken place on the road in Novoshedrinovskaya.
After
fulfilling the fighting task, only eight fighters from group of Mujahideen of
Islamic brigade came back to base. However a total number of up to 70 soldiers
from a group of Russian commandos and national traitors were overtaken. One of
ours fighters, Abdul Wahhab, offered to Amir of groups (signal "Mamlyuk")
to accept fight. After short consultation, Amir made decision and mujahideen
entered in fight with the opponent.
What
has taken place at the spot cannot be named other than action of Allah.
Mujahideen entered in heavy contact fight with kafirs in open area. The Chechen
national-traitors shouted to mujahideen - "Do not shoot! We are Chechens!"
Russian soldiers put the weapon, lifted hands upwards or escaped, as shown in
the Soviet films about Germans. 12 national-traitors of munafiqeen and 15
Russian kafirs were killed in the battle. From our side became shaheed Abdul
Wahhab, who offered to accept fight. I swear by Allah, that what I have told -
is true!
According
to my data, only for the last few days in various areas of Ichkeria were killed
more than 100 kafirs and were hit or undermined up to 20 units of military
engineering. I can tell, that moral and fighting spirit of mujahideen,
Inshaallah, is at the highest level. Our losses are very small. As destruction
of some of our commanders, has been miscalculated by Russian. Any of our
military divisions has not broken up and were not disbanded after the death of
Amir. On the contrary, every Jamaat, and each division has become stronger day
by day. Russian kafirs expect very big troubles. And we shall not repeat any
more old mistakes of our politicians, Inshaallah!"
