Despite
of continuous requests for help of besieged invaders in Vedeno, Khankala, still,
is not capable to undertake any intelligent actions against Mujahideen, who
actually have taken Vedensky gorge and most
part of the area is under their control. Within all bright day light of August
14, fights proceeded in Vedeno. Chechen fighters have put full-scale mortar
shelling from heavy mortars of 120 calibers on base of 66th brigade
of Russian occupant and terrorist formations.
Shortages
in ammunition of mujahideen are not experienced, as during military operation in
Vedeno and Tsa-Vedeno, Chechen fighters have received plenty of mortar shells
and various arms. According to Chechen command during operations on August 14 in
Ведено,
about 30 soldiers from 66th brigade and 7 so-called OMONs, who were
hiding in occupational commandant's office, were destroyed. By 12 o'clock in the
afternoon on August 14, mujahideen had taken practically entire regional center
under their control, having blocked commandant's office. Till late evening,
negotiations were proceeding about handing over of opponent in captivity.
Occupational
command in Khankala categorically demands from officers of commandant's office
not to hand over the weapon. Threats are strewed in address of besieged.
Mujahideen could observe one of sessions of radio negotiations in immediate
proximity from one of officers, who started negotiations with Chechen
mujahideen. Our source in staff of command of Mujahideen reports, additional
forces of Mujahideen are concentrating in Vedeno area. However, as informed by
source of Kavkaz-Center, no one is going to storm other positions of aggressors.
He explained, that scheduled army operation, which pursues some specific goals
would be carried out. As he said, operation is passing successfully.
At
the same time, situation in Tsa-Vedeno remains unchanged. Mujahideen still
supervise this settlement and gradually expand a zone of their control,
establishing additional check-posts on the main roads of the area. On August 14,
Chechen check-posts were set up on road towards Serjen-yurt, Elistanji,
Haji-aul, Dargo, Janni-Vedeno and Belgoy. In second half of day near Elistanji,
there was short, but fierce fight between Mujahideen and advanced grouping of 45th
paratrooper regiment, which is deployed in area Hattuni. According to Chechen
command as a result of an hour fight, two units of BMD were burnt and not less
than 7 commandos have been killed. Having lost two armored vehicles, invaders
retreated towards Hattuni.
The
Chechen side informs, that up to 250 Russian invaders have already been
destroyed during three days of fights in Vedeno area. From Chechen side, 6
fighters have been killed and 14 are wounded.
Local
clashes with aggressors are also occurring in other areas of the country. So
near Old Atagov, mujahideen attacked armored group of the opponent, having
destroyed two armored troop-carrier and not less than 6 aggressors. And in area
of settlement Varandy, a BMP of invaders has been undermined. 4 aggressors have
been killed. Clashes have been reported from Nojay-yurt and from area of
settlement Agishbatoy. According to Chechen side during these clashes about 10
Russian aggressors have been destroyed.
In
spite of the fact that fights in Vedeno area have been going for the third day,
Russian MASS-MEDIA by order of Kremlin generals are maintaining death silence,
similar to those of Khankala generals. On television channels show fresh
Baranov, who continues to tell tulle about "prisoners dugouts and buried
insurgents". Kremlin propagandists periodically splash out on pages of
newspapers and television screens in the name of "authentic"
information about split among "insurgents". This time, according to
version of "Kremlin", split occurred between Khattab and Gelayev.
The
Reason of "split" is obviously about triviality - money. Simply and clearly for Russian inhabitants,
underpants are on twenty Rubles. "Insurgents divide money! ". Well for
now Baranov and Yastrzhembsky tell to dear Russians about financial problems of
Khattab and Gelayev, in Vedeno scheduled operation of Chechen mujahideen on
destruction of opponent is proceeding, and besieged invaders continue to cover
with good mother on radio in the air and are damning Putin, Kremlin and Baranov
together.
