For
understanding of a global situation in connection with the so-called Middle East
conflict, it is important to know about separate fragments of the general
picture of an event. Civil war in Lebanon years 1975-1990 has brought huge
sufferings to the Lebanese people. Up to now, the country cannot return to
calmness and stability. To whom this war was favorable? I also shall try to
answer this question.
Let's
consider a situation in Middle East in the beginning of 70ies. The Arab-Israeli
war of 1973 (Yom Kipur war of Ramadan) just was finished. Though also for Arabs
was not possible to crush Israel, the Zionist state has got force in the wake of
reorganized after six-day of war of 1967 of the Arabian armies and Palestinian
fighters. It became clear, that in the military way, Israel couldn’t solve the
conflict with Palestinians using broad support not only in the Arabian countries,
but also all over the world. Before Israeli leadership, there was a question:
how to distract Arabian world, which seriously has undertaken for the
solution of the Palestinian problem? The most convenient for Israel seemed the
following solution - to untie the conflict in some Middle East country.
Lebanon
was ideal polygon for this purpose as it allowed Israel to solve still some
political problems - to finish with the Palestinian Resistance movement (which
it could not make till now) and to carry out capture of southern Lebanon. Last
idea was born by Zionist figures for a long time. In 1917, magazine «Palestine»
published an article «Borders of Palestine», in which it was spoken, that
these borders should include the south of Lebanon down to Saida. Clearly, that
residence of Arabs - Palestinians (both Christians, and Muslims) in Zionist
Palestine obviously was not provided… And well-known Teodor Gertsl tried
to achieve by a payoff of the sanction to Osmanli authorities on purchase of the
Palestinian and Lebanese grounds (this historic fact already was informed by «Kavkaz-Center»).
It
is interesting, where Zionist figures wanted to determine local residents, whom
they have by all means expelled from their houses (as confirmation, it is
possible to recollect all subsequent Arab-Israeli conflicts? Tel Aviv was
worried and that fact, that Lebanon has considerably developed economically. In
times, previous to the Lebanese crisis, the country became one of the basic
partners of the West-European countries in east Mediterranean, especially in the
field of communications, trade, banking, and tourism. Already after intrusions
of 1978 and 1982, it became known, that during aggression, Israelis took
out engineering and equipment from Lebanon.
From
southern Lebanon right-up-way to May 2000, when from there were withdrawn
divisions of Army of defense of Israel (such is the official name of the Israeli
army), have taken out almost all red badge army,
allowing
to remove some crops per one year. Besides, at this time in Lebanon
internal political conditions has become aggravated. The country was on the
verge of civil war. Each respectable party already actively formed the militia
and Israel only needed to slightly pour oil on the flame that lit a fire of war.
Clearly,
that for maintenance of the influence in Middle East for USA, it was necessary
to occupy strong positions on such strategic crossroads that Lebanon is.
Lebanon always was extraordinary important for USA. To it testify constant
military interventions in internal affairs of this Middle East state - 1958, and
1982-1984. But the most important reason of intervention of USA in Lebanese
conflict was petroleum, on whose deliveries from the Arabian countries depends
America. The administration of USA has well remembered, as the Arabian states
have applied «petroleum strangling» against the countries supporting Israel on
autumn of 1973.
Guarantees
of uninterrupted supply by petroleum were required. And that remarkable guarantee
is presence of the ally in heart of the Arabian East, not to alien neighbors (as
against Israel). Especially, if to take into account that the most part of
petroleum of Saudi Arabia and Iraq is brought to north Lebanese city of Tripoli,
where there is an oil refining factory… still It is necessary to take into
account presence of the strongest pro-Israel lobby in USA
The
reasons of intervention of international Zionism and USA in internal affairs of
Lebanon are those in brief. And this intervention only has aggravated the
Lebanese crisis, costing to small Arabian country of 150 thousand lives.
