Western
intelligence services threw out information in Mass-Media about the fact that
Pakistan conducts dual game in Afghanistan. In particular, on the allegation of
newspaper Washington Post, which refers to American special services, Pakistan,
in spite of support to the military action of USA in Afghanistan, secretly is
supplying armament to Taliban. In particular, according to intelligence report,
Islamabad is supplying Taliban with weapon, ammunition and fuel. The transfer of
armament on the trucks is performed allegedly at night. Trucks leave from Quetta
city and go to the boundary city of Chaman in Pakistan, and later on to Kandahar
province of Afghanistan. According to the allegations of American special
services, the trade is approved both by the government and Pakistani
intelligence service ISI (Inter Service Intelligence). The latter, newspaper
writes, it has close connections with Taliban. Thus, sums up Washington Post,
supplying weapon to Taliban, Pakistan violates the resolution of United Nations,
imposed during December of last year about the ban of the deliveries of armament
into Afghanistan.
In
turn, Pakistani side refutes the information of American special services. The
official representatives of Defence Ministry of Pakistan declare, that they have
no available information about the deliveries of weapon.
In
this connection, it is necessary to note that the leakage of information about
by the mystery of aid to Taliban by the regime of Musharraf appeared at that
moment, when the position of General Musharraf himself strongly shook in
Pakistan because of the support to American military action against Afghanistan.
Therefore, it is possible that thus the Americans try to bring down the flare-up
of anti-government demonstrations in Pakistan, illuminating «double role» of
Islamabad.
Situation
in United States remains alarming. And in many respects because of constant
reminding of American authorities about the threats of new terror acts against
USA and its citizens. So members of the American delegation, who in the next
week are leaving for Qatar for the scheduled meeting with World
Trade Organization (WTO),
declares CIA, can threaten security. For this very reason each delegate will
have with himself gas mask, medical first-aid kit and portable radio (!!!). It
is also known that the members of the congress of USA are not intended to
participate in the conference, with exception of three representatives of the
administration of the American President, who will go to Qatar. The total number
of delegates, who leave for the meeting of WTO, which will be held from 9 to 13
November, by the decision of the President was reduced from 150 to 50 people.
This decision was made as special services allegedly could confirm that less
than a month ago in Qatar arrived certain terrorist, who can attempt to disturb
the meeting of WTO.
