On
Tuesday from radio station Kavkaz was broadcasted current interview of Amir
Khattab, who answered questions of correspondent about fate of captured
Lieutenant Colonel Boryaev. According to Khattab, Russians do not want to make
exchange, to save their officer and to release Chechen women. Russians deceive
Boryaev and his family. The record of conversation was made on 5th
November.

people are interested in the fate of captured Lieutenant Colonel Boryaev. They
ask, whether he is alive or not.
Khattab:
He
is still alive, but now we gave last period to them for exchange - 120 hours.
Period will elapse on Sunday. If again nothing will be by them, we will be
forced kill it. You understood?

But
when will the period elapse? When will these 120 hours elapse?
Khattab:
The
general decision will be made in five days. Sunday is last period.
Corr.:
It
means that period does end on Sunday? I correctly understood you?

Exactly,

which means, are not concordant to the exchange?

When
Lieutenant Colonel gave interview to you, he still then said precisely that he
doesn’t think that his command will agree. He knows himself, what dirty are
they, what vicious are they, mean and so forth. He himself said that they would
deceive him. Last time, we already requested them to exchange him for any
peaceful people, any 25 people. And among them were nine women from Kurchaloi,
Vedeno, Nozhai-Yurt. Surname was transmitted. But we did not propose even names
for the remaining persons. We said any 25 people. But yet there is nothing.
Therefore all this tired us, and we decided to finish this issue. We seriously
gave them 120 hours.

is understandable. We from our side will try to help these people. We want so
that our participation would be in the release of peaceful inhabitants.
Khattab:
So
ring to his family, say that we greatly tried to help him and proposed to the
command of Russians to wait thus for serious combat contacts, until we decide
the fate of their officer. But they instead of this undertook large approach on
us in the mountains. Russians themselves push slightly us to execute their
Lieutenant Colonel. Boryaev himself does not believe them. In short, these
people know each other. We execute him after the period. We do not have any more
time for this person. We do not have conditions for him.
