In
an ancient legend, it is said: «God gave two elbows to man - one for the
worship to Almighty God, and the other one for the worship to teacher. America,
in the one-sided order, which undertook to teach all things to all, decided now
to place world on the elbows by force of weapon. USA wants so that in the entire
world would idolize American means of the life: MacDonalds, chewing gum,
unbridled sexual revolution, etc. The only force, which originally opposes to
this, is universal values of Islam, demonized today by so-called Judeo-Christian
(American) civilization.
Even
they devised special term: «Islamic fundamentalism», by which they frighten
entire Christian West. And here today, after the events on September 11, when
world super-power appeared
its anti-Moslem nature, is possible, in our opinion, to name this «American
absolutism». We think that this definition will get accustomed so, as this
happened all times with term “Islamic fundamentalism”.
American
absolutism frightens, first of all, very allies of USA, this is what writes in
this regard Norwegian newspaper «Aftenposten»:

In the world is obvious intensification of unrest, connected with the plans of
USA relative to inflicting of military attacks not only on Afghanistan, but also
in other countries. Completely justified seems the warning of the Foreign
Minister of Germany, Joshka
Fischer,
who critically evaluates the attempts of specific forces in USA to find new
military targets after Afghanistan. Even super-power must understand, that this
fight cannot be used for information of old calculations.

No one can say, when and how we will be able to gain victory in the fight with
international terrorism. But it is possible to think above the fact, that we can
suffer defeat in this fight. One of the possibilities: to unleash interminable
world war: today - Afghanistan, tomorrow - Iraq, and day after tomorrow - even
any country. May be, we will succeed in attaining something with the force of
our available weapon; however, social and cultural consequences of eternal war
will very painfully strike us also by itself. And if for the rescuing of world
from the threat of terrorism we ruined West, then to brag such victory will be
difficult, sums up Italian newspaper «Repubblica».
But
whether Washington is ready to listen to the opinion of its allies? No.
According to the published on last Thursday of the results of the survey of
population, carried out by assignment of television channel CNN and newspaper «USA
Today», 60 % of Americans support the plans of expansion of so-called
antiterrorist war. Those encouraged by this support, leader of policy in
Washington in the recent days by semi-signals – semi-threats gave to
understand, on whom can attack anger of USA in the second stage of war. Among
the possible candidates was named Iraq and Somalia. Proposals to include Iraq in
the list of the paramount targets of military operation have been sounding in
USA from the day of terrorist acts in New York and Washington. And although the
proofs of the participation of the government of Iraq to these attacks,
Americans did not know how to find, however this, similar, does not disturb
Washington strategists. Oils into the fire of speculations added personally
President Bush, whose father so did not know how in his time to bring down
Saddam:
"If
states develop weapon of mass-destruction in order to terrorize other countries
with its aid, then it is necessary to draw them to the responsibility. As far as
Saddam Hussein is concerned, he must allow again inspectors of United Nations
into his country in order to prove to us that he does not produce weapon of
mass-destruction", stated
Bush from the high tribune.
Many
European observers are sure that serious and specific plans of the military
interference in Iraq hide themselves behind the American rhetoric. So considers,
for example, the former authorized United Nations on Iraq, German diplomat Hans
von Shponek.

«It seems to me that decision in Washington about the fact that Iraq will
become the following target in the operation, already has long ago been made.
And this, certainly, has caused unrest. So far specifically they do not speak
about this decision, because first is necessary to prepare public opinion. But
public opinion in Europe and in Middle East now are not preparedly to agree with
the statements of USA, because they are not reinforced by proofs».
The
skepticism of Europeans in many respects is dictated by vagueness of the targets
of possible attacks on Iraq. In fact, what is possible to achieve with the aid
of similar expansion of conflict? This question Hans von Shponek unambiguously
answers:

«You know, in this complex discussion around Iraq is not possible to attain
much by military means. It seems to me that Americans must finally give up the
attempts to block the consideration of Iraqi problem at the round table. They
make this for a period of many years. To Iraq was not given any one possibility
to be explained... It seems to me that people in Iraq did not deserve similar.
But, furthermore, proofs for the justification for similar decision, simply
there do not exist».
League
of Arab states decisively appeared against possible military attacks on Iraq,
against expressed themselves Great Britain, Germany and France. But this will
hardly stop militant American absolutism. Now
relative to Somalia - this African country fell in the list of possible targets
of USA only because it is considered one of the most probable places, where
allegedly will attempt to hide Osama Ben Laden.
Close
eye of Americans on Somalia and uncomplimentary publications about this country
in the western press did not remain unnoticed into Mogadishu. Clearly frightened
by the threat of American military attacks, Prime Minister of Somalia on last
Wednesday officially proposed to Americans to send its inspectors to the country
and to be convinced of the fact that there are no camps of training for
terrorists in Somalia. What was the response of USA to this proposal? It is
still not known.
Impression
is created, that for Americans is unfavorable death of Osama Ben Laden. Under
the pretext of his non-handover, USA is ready, apparently, to bomb all Moslem
countries one by one.
«War
is a reflex to the evil, the sign of existence of internal evil and disease,
wrote N. Berdyaev in his work «Think
about nature of war». Today, it is possible to say that internal evil and
disease of American hawks is called as: militant «American absolutism».
