that censorship became one of kinds of the weapon of USA in war against
Afghanistan. In this connection, journalist of the Bavarian radio (Germany) has
written recently – «Absence
of alternative opinions in small editions in USA or in the influential newspaper
«New
York Times», unanimous support of the governmental slogans became the act of
self-censorship. Such transformation of press sooner is needs the attention of
sociologists and psychologists».
Censorship of authorities of USA and self-censorship of the American MASS-MEDIA
is proud up to recent times of unlimited freedom of speech in the country, have
resulted that the country began to receive no information, and interpretation of
the information on those or other events in Afghanistan. As result - about the
real situation at the front and real losses of the American troops is known to
only narrow circle of very important persons in Washington and to journalists
silent due to «patriotic» promptings. Only few mass media, basically Islamic
ones, today try to show true information to the public on war in Afghanistan.
So Islamic agency «Ummah
News», referring to Islamic institute of researches and training, has
informed about more 200 killed and wounded Americans, as a result of the most
powerful explosion, which has taken place at the airport of Kandahar on 16th
of December. We shall remind, that western MASS-MEDIA have transferred that day
official version of happened, which was sounded by the Pentagon. Under the
version of the Pentagon, the group of marines only was undermined on a mine in
territory of the airport. In result - one of them was lost and three were
wounded.
Publishing of the information on explosion already caused suspicion. In any case
was clear for experts, that detailed description of how three wounded soldier
have independently got on aboard the helicopter, that, testifies that composers
of the press release behind fine details tried to hide that should not become
property of publicity. On the data of agency Ummah News,
have
suffered not 4, but 200 Americans. Not the mine has blown up, but a warehouse
with ammunition. Taliban have managed to mine it and blew up with the help of
remote control.
Other agency «Azzam»
referring
to participants of fights in area of Tora-Bora forest informs destruction of 17
American marine soldiers in one of last fights in this region. Some mobile
groups of Taliban have enticed commandos into the trap and, surrounding
them
from the sides, have destroyed them in fierce fight. About their accessories,
formations of sea infantry became known due to special slugs, which were found
out on bodies of killed Americans. Taliban in a number of almost 1000 fighters
have disappeared from Tora-Bora forest.
All
these were only some episodes of war in Afghanistan. In this connection rather
curious seem supervision of the German journalists in USA about which has told
one of these days radio «Deutsche
Welle»
- «German journalists working in USA, do not get tired to be surprised at how
quickly and as sharply their American colleagues have overlooked about pluralism
traditional for USA, about the right of freedom of speech and voluntary began to
consider themselves as a megaphone of the government», - the radio station in
the special transmission «Safety and democracy» transmits.
And the correspondent of the Bavarian radio, whom we quoted above, has told to
the students, the following episode – «Influential
representatives of Hollywood, bosses of the big studios and TV corporations,
leaders of actor's and literary guilds, have met the high-ranking official of
presidential administration. Behind closed doors, opportunities of participation
of the film-industry in anti-terrorist campaign were discussed. Actually
Hollywood officials were invited for reception of the order. They have shown
readiness to execute this order».
