MAHDI KARIMZADEH
Born in 1987 (Tehran).
Student of Art school (in the field of Graphic).
He started cartooning on six year’s old.
He participated in many internal & international cartoon exhibitions.
His works published in persian newspapers & magazines,
as a cartoonist and illustrator.
His interviews and works showed in internal various channels of TV.
And also in publications, as a: wonderful
and special designer of Tender years.
Awards include:
Winner of Honorary award in 19th Tolentino biennial (ITALY 1997).
Winner of crystalline image and honorary award
in Iranian Young designers Festival (IRAN 1997).
Winner of Honorary award in 2nd. Blue sky festival (IRAN 1998).
Winner of Special prize (Three, gold coin & certificate of merit)
for his collection of art works, in “Anti-Narcotics”
international contest (IRAN 1998).
Winner of Honorary award in “Football” international cartoon contest (IRAN 1999).
Winner of Humor Prize in “Courage” international cartoon contest (Taiwan 2000).
Winner of Honorary award in “Ozone Layer” cartoon contest (IRAN 2000).
Winner of First prize (One, gold coin & certificate of merit) in “Road”
international cartoon contest - Young section (IRAN 2003).
Winner of Second prize in “Tehran” 6th. international
cartoon contest - Free section (IRAN 2003).
Winner of Third prize (Bronze Plaque & certificate of merit)
in “FCW” 2nd.international cartoon contest (China 2004).
Selector-member of “Behdaasht” (Gol-agha) internal cartoon contest (IRAN 2004).
Jury-member of international “Book Illustration” contest (IRAN 2004).
He exhibited himself collection of cartoons in Iran Cartoon House (Tehran 1999).
