Jamal Rahmati

Born in Zanjan in 1972
A Tehran University graduate in graphics
-Now an Art University student of Animation
-Has worked for different journals such as the "Tous", "Azad", "Seda-ye-
Edalat","Nowsazi" dailies, "Rouz-e-Haftom" weekly,"Donya-ye-Sokhan",
"Donya-ye-Tasvir",and "Kayhan caricature" monthly as a caricaturist and illustrator
-A member of a caricature group called "White Crow"
-Has held some individual and group exhibition

Awards:

-Has participated several internal and external exhibition and won some prizes:
-Third place in Anti-narcotic Campaign Festival, Tehran 1997
-Honorable mention in Taejon Festival , South Korea 1998
-Honorable mention in The Man and The Nature Festival , Tehran 1997
-Second place in The Press Festival, Tehran 1998
-First place in a caricature contest on the subject of "Home", Tehran 1999
-First place in European Satire Festival , Italy 2000
-Third place in Skopje Caricature Festival, Macedonia 1999
-Has won more than 20 prizes in internal caricature contests
